The Pediatric Surgery Department at Aria Apollo Hospital is a center of excellence for the surgical treatment of congenital and acquired conditions in infants, children, and adolescents. Our team of highly skilled and dedicated pediatric surgeons is committed to providing safe, effective, and compassionate care tailored specifically to the needs of young patients.

We manage a wide range of surgical conditions, from routine procedures to rare and complex anomalies, with a strong emphasis on early diagnosis, timely intervention, and minimally invasive techniques when possible.

Core areas of expertise include:

• Congenital anomalies such as anorectal malformations, Hirschsprung’s disease, intestinal atresias, esophageal anomalies, abdominal wall defects, and urogenital malformations
• Neonatal surgeries including pyloric stenosis, duodenal atresia, and congenital diaphragmatic hernia
• Pediatric urological surgeries, including hypospadias repair and undescended testes
• Thoracic and abdominal surgeries such as diaphragmatic hernia repair, lung resections, and bowel resections
• Pediatric tumor surgeries, including Wilms’ tumor and neuroblastoma
• Emergency surgical care for intussusception, appendicitis, volvulus, and trauma
• Minimally invasive (laparoscopic) pediatric surgeries, improving recovery and minimizing scarring

The department is supported by dedicated pediatric anesthesiologists, neonatal and pediatric intensive care units (NICU & PICU), and a team of experienced pediatric nurses, ensuring comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care.
