Aria Apollo Hospital, located in Herat, Afghanistan, was established in 2007 by a group of dedicated physicians including Dr. Ahmad Wali Zulmay, Dr. Waheed Ahmad Faqiri, Dr. Abdul Qadir Timory, Dr. Abdulzaher Niazi, Dr. Abdul Karim Halimi, and Dr. Merajuddin Malekzadeh. Initially founded as the first private pediatric hospital in Herat, it has since expanded into a full-fledged multi-specialty curative hospital with 30 beds and modern diagnostic and treatment capabilities.
In 2014 the hospital underwent major upgrades, launching multiple specialized departments and introducing international standards in healthcare. We are proud holders of the ISO 9001 certification, and recipients of multiple awards for standard hospital systems from government and assessment bodies.
